The much anticipated and upsized version of the Samsung Galaxy Note finally reached North American stores at a $500 USD price point. After being announced at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, the larger sized Note packs a serious punch. Inside rocks with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor in addition to 2GB RAM.

Galaxy Note 10.1 finally launched
The new tablet also features several standout design decisions that should make it absolutely stand out from the crowd. The new Note, which is officially titled the Galaxy Note 10.1 is a tablet featuring a 10.1 inch LCD display, the aforementioned processor and ram package, a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.9 megapixel camera in the front for video calling.
The display is vibrant and colorful and at 1200×800 pixels all of your streaming content, emails, music and movies will look fantastic. The Note 10.1 is currently available in 16GB or 32GB versions, both of which run the Android 4.0 operating system.
An amazing feature, which can come in very handy, is the Note’s Multiscreen feature, which allows the user an ability to run two apps side-by-side on the same screen. No more toggling between screen for just about anything!
The tablet was designed to work in tandem with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, a peripheral that most other tablet owners will envy. Video’s can be viewed in a floating window if you so choose, or they can be repositioned and even resized quickly and easily.
For those with videos stored in cloud storage services, this device could easily become a great solution for a movie on the go, and with the ability to view two apps at the same time, one could potentially enjoy a television show while doing some light email work.
